Wilson Bertie Catherine Wilson, 87, of Grove Hill died Jan. 21, 2008 at a local hospital. She was born Aug. 7, 1920. She was a member of the Grove Hill Baptist Church. She was a retired seamstress for Vanity Fair Mills in Jackson. Survivors include one daughter, Captoria (John) Larrimore, Dickinson; one brother, Wilton (W.D.) Brunson, Foley; three grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; five great-greatgrandchildren. The service was Jan. 23 at 11 a.m. at the Grove Hill Baptist Church with Revs. Randy Boone and John Copeland officiating. Burial was in the Grove Hill Baptist Cemetery. Lathan Funeral Home of Grove Hill directed. Flowers will be accepted or donations can be made to the Love and Service Fund at Grove Hill Baptist Church, 140 South Church Street, Grove Hill, AL 36451. Active pallbearers were Ray Brunson, Wayne Brunson, Andy Brunson, Mike Brunson, Donald Dunagan and Charlie Harris.
Honorary pallbearers were Ms. Wilson's Grove Hill Baptist Church Sunday School class.
