Good News Sunday Feb. 3
There is Good News for Grove Hill, and there is Good News for the rest of the world!

That is why the members of Grove Hill Baptist Church have adopted "Good News Grove Hill" as their theme for 2008. We want people to know there is hope!

Good News Grove Hill is more than just a theme. It is a year long evangelistic campaign whereby the church will reach out to the town and surrounding communities. We believe that God loves everyone, and that He sent His Son to die for the sins of the whole world. Our mission is to reach out and share His love with as many people as we possibly can.

The campaign officially begins on Sunday, Feb. 3. The church will celebrate Good News Sunday. They have set two goals for that day. The first goal involves having 200 people in Sunday School. You are invited to come and participate in a Sunday School class of your choosing. We would love to have you!

The second goal involves receiving an offering of $25,000.00. This will be received during the morning worship service at 11 a.m. The awesome thing about this offering is that it will be used to fund events that will be geared to meet the needs of the community.

Immediately after the service the church will provide lunch for everyone. The Revelators will be in concert at about 1:30 p.m. There will be no evening services.

The church has various events planned throughout the year, some of which include a luncheon for the business community of Grove Hill, School Appreciation Banquet, Back to School Block Party, Fall Festival, Christian Concerts, Wild Game Supper and much more.

We are excited about being involved in our community. We want to be a blessing to all people and share the Good News of Jesus Christ by demonstrating His sacrificial love. There really is Good News for Grove Hill! Bro. Lee Merck, the pastor of GHBC, would like to invite all who are interested to attend.
