Jake Paul, Beta Club president, FBLA president, Yearbook editor and graduating senior, took it upon himself to write to Congressman Jo Bonner requesting new flags to be flown at Clarke County High School. Jake received a personal reply and an American flag for the school which was once flown over the Capitol Building in Washington, D.C. Congressman Bonner even forwarded a request for an Alabama flag to our own State Representative Marc Keahey who in turn sent the school an Alabama state flag which was once flown over Alabama's Capitol Building in Montgomery.

Jake should be well known to The Clarke County Democrat readers because he is the energetic young man who complies our monthly school news, as well as various other articles for The Democrat. Jake plans to major in Communication Studies concentrating in Political Science at the University of Alabama when he graduates from CCHS this year.
