Jones Jennifer Inez Jones, 36, of Auburn died Jan. 25, 2008 at an area health care facility in Auburn. She was born Nov. 4, 1971. She was a native of Jackson and a former resident of Pine Hill. She was a member of Shandon Baptist Church of Columbia, S.C. She was a retired director of Scales Avenue Child Development Center in Columbia, S.C. Survivors include her mother, Geraldine Dumas, Grove Hill; her husband, Kevin Jones, Auburn; one daughter, Kylie Jones, Auburn; two brothers, Teddy Paul, Grove Hill, Will Sheffield, Stephensville, Texas; two sisters, Christine Day, Akron, Ala., Lori Garris, Leroy. The service was Jan. 28 at 11 a.m. at Union Baptist Church in Grove Hill. Burial was in the Union Baptist Church Cemetery. Lathan Fueral Home directed. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Carcinoid Foundation c/o Carcinoid.org.
Active pallbearers were Fletcher Overstreet Jr., Philip Day, Brad Garris, Bradley Paul, Kenneth Jones and Jeff Jones.
