Overton

Susan Rena Overton, 47, of Jackson died Jan. 16, 2008 at a Mobile area hospital.

She was born July 23, 1960. She was a native of Butler. She was a member of Peniel Baptist Church. She was a certified nursing assistant for Jackson Health Care Facility.

Survivors include her husband, Charles E. Overton, Jackson; one daughter, Holly Moseley Hayes, Coffeeville; her mother, Martha Nelson Roberts, Butler; one brother, Roger Nelson, Jackson; three sisters, Vickie Poole, Lincolnton, N.C., Kay Giles, Gilbertown, Lori Kelley, Whatley; two grandchildren.

A memorial service was Jan. 25 at 10 a.m. at Lathan Funeral Home chapel in Jackson.
