James Robert Moore Sr., 77 of Thomasville died Jan. 25, 2008 at his residence. He was born Sept. 7, 1930 in Smethport, Penn.

Survivors include his wife, Betty Louise Moore, Thomasville; four sons, Jerry West, Dan West, both of Hoquiam, Wash., Jim Moore Jr., Thomasville, Doug Moore, Locust Grove, Ga.; eight daughters, Bernice Lund, Hoquiam, Wash., Judy Tatham, Jane Morgan, Dawn Buchanan, all of Thomasville, Diane Christensen, Tenino, Wash., Christine Moore, Jackson, Carla Carr, Tempe, Ariz., Virginia Parson, Elma, Wash.; 38 grandchildren; 45 great-grandchildren.

There was no service conducted. O'Bryant Chapel Funeral Home of Thomasville directed.
