Bass

Margaret Bass, 93, of Whatley died Jan. 19, 2008. She was born May 2, 1915 in Selma.

Survivors include one foster sister, Martha West, Selma; a devoted caregiver, Ruby Bass, a Godson, Elvis Young, Navarre, Fla.; one devoted friend, Bonnie Fay White, several nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, George Bass, two sisters and eight brothers.

The service was Jan. 27 at 2 p.m. at Indian Ridge Baptist Church with Rev. Elvis Young officiating. Burial was at the Indian Ridge Baptist Church Cemetery. Reese Funeral Home of Thomasville directed.

Active pallbearers were friends and family.
