Town of Coffeeville receives grants for new generators
By Kathryn Pickard News Reporter

Mayor Faye Cotten told Coffeeville Town Council members Tuesday that the waterworks department had received a grant to purchase two generators for the department.

She and Town Clerk Tina May will attend a meeting in Mobile to discuss another grant for the waterworks department and a sewer system.

A discussion was held on whether to sell the gas tank at the old library or not.

Council members endorsed a resolution proclaiming February as Alabama Marriage Month.

The mayor invited town council members to attend a meeting in Jackson with ThyssenKrupp officials Feb. 11.

Mayor Cotten told council members several committees had been appointed for the town's bicentennial celebration in May.
