TCC weekend gospel meet

Thomasville Church of Christ located at the corner of 3rd Street and Worl will have a Weekend Gospel Meeting Friday, Feb. 22 through Sunday, Feb. 24. There will be a different speaker for each service. Mackey Branch ordination service

Mackey Branch #2 Baptist Church of Whatley will have an Ordination Service for Rev. James Barganier Sunday, Feb. 24 at 2:30 p.m. Sis. Ethel Evans is the secretary. Rev. Dave Adams Jr. is the pastor.

Spencer Chapel special

Spencer Chapel A.M.E. Church of Fulton will have its Founder's Day/Black History Program Sunday, Feb. 24 at 11 a.m. Old fashion food will be served. Rev. W.T. Lesueur is the pastor.

New Home leap year singing

New Home Baptist Church will have a leap year singing Friday, Feb. 29 at 7 p.m. featuring New Direction, Grateful Heart, Condie Browning, Faron McKinley, Kenny Lee, and The Old Timers with Rev. Kenneth Johnson. The Ladies of Woodlawn Methodist Church will be having a cake auction. Admission is free. There will be a love offering taken and all proceeds from the offering and cake auction will go toward the future singings at New Home which is located between Repton and Monroeville just off Highway 84 north.

Lily Baptist Church pastor's Aide Day

The Lily Baptist Church of Fulton will have its Pastor's Aide Day Sunday, March 2 at 2:30 p.m. The special guest will be The Voices of Harmony of Grove Hill. The guest speaker will be Rev. Clabon Autry, associate minister at New Greater First Baptist along with the choir of Thomasville. Sis. Marie Calhoun is the sponsor. Rev. Wiley McMillan is the pastor.

Union Baptist pastor anniversary

Union Baptist Church will have its pastor's anniversary Sunday, March 2 at 2:30 p.m. Rev. Kelvin Maye, pastor of Williams Chapel of Mt. Vernon will be the guest speaker. Sis. Emma Williams is the chair lady. Rev. Vayton and Sister Chapman is the pastor and honoree.

Carry Mount pastor's third anniversary

Carry Mount Baptist Church of Fountain will have its pastor's third year anniversary honoring Rev. and Sis. Leroy Jenkins as pastor and first lady Sunday, March 2 at 2 p.m. The guest speaker will be Rev. James McGhee Jr., pastor of the New Hopewell Baptist Church of Laurel, Miss. Sis. Charlotte Hixon is the clerk. Rev. Leroy Jenkins is the pastor.

Brotherhood meeting

Inspirational Tabernacle Church of God In Christ located at 1171 Industrial Road in Jackson will have its annual Brotherhood meeting beginning Monday, March 3 through Friday, March 7 at 7:30 p.m. nightly. Friday, 12 noon, men only. Prophet Cleveland Shearls of Abundance of Blessings of Moss Point, Miss will be the speaker of the week. Evangelist Beverly Jackson is the pastor.

Fulton Baptist to sell BBQ

Fulton Baptist Church will have a barbecue sale Saturday, March 8 at 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. in the fellowship hall. Barbecue will be $5 per pound or $25 for a whole roast. For further information please call the church office at 334-636- 5305.

Church of Jesus Christ looking for building

Church of Jesus Christ would like to announce to the Grove Hill and Thomasville areas the beginning of a new church, the Church of Jesus Christ. At the present time members are seeking a building to hold its services in. One of the ministers who lives in Thomasville has opened his home for Bible studies or home services. Forest Springs seeking donations

Forest Springs Baptist Church of Morvin has changed the homecoming date from the second Sunday in August to the second Sunday in October. Information is needed on the cemetery records and unmarked graves. The church roof leaks and needs to be replaced with a metal roof. Any information and all donations would be greatly appreciated. Bible study at Fulton Baptist

The First Baptist Church of Fulton located at 949 Highway 178 will be studying the Book of Revelation on Sunday nights beginning at 5 p.m. Dr. John Copeland, pastor, will be leading the study.

Cemetery donations sought
