National Wild Turkey Federation plans Superfund Banquet

The Clarke County Chapter of the National Wild Turkey Federation (NWTF) Superfund Banquet will be Feb. 28 at the Grove Hill National Guard Armory. To help make this fundraising event successful, they are seeking sponsors. All assistance will be appreciated.

A national, nonprofit, educational conservation organization, the NWTF is comprised of state and local affiliates working for the restoration and wise management of the American wild turkey and other valuable natural resources. These dedicated groups seek to improve the quality of the environment and conserving wildlife. Persons who wanted to lead the way in managing and restoring, rather than exploiting, the wild turkey and other wildlife resources, organized the federation in 1973.

The NWTF supports scientific wildlife management on public, private and corporate lands. They support traditional American sport hunting and every citizen's right to enjoy clean air and water and an esthetically pleasing outdoor environment.

Sponsor tickets, $250, include membership, a seafood buffet for two, sponsor award and one in 10 chances to win a shotgun. A couple's ticket, $65, includes two meals and membership; single's ticket, $50, one meal and membership; Print Sponsor, $125, membership; Print Co-Sponsor, $75, membership; and NWTF membership, $30.

Any door prizes donated will be appreciated. For additional information call 246-4510 or write NWTF, P.O. Box 745, Jackson, AL 36545.
