Jumping rope benefits Heart Association

Boys and girls in the third and fourth grade at Grove Hill Elementary School collected money for this year's Jump Rope For Heart. A total amount of $1451.87 was raised this year.

The top three money raisers were: Abby Luker, Madison Newton, and Destiny White. This money has been sent to the American Heart Association where it will be used to fight heart disease and stroke.

On Thursday, Feb. 14 students enjoyed long and short rope jumping, relays and other jump rope activities. GHES appreciates the parents allowing their children to participate in our Jump Rope For Heart and thanks to anyone who contributed to the American Heart Association.

A special thanks is extended to Mrs. Susan Jones and Miss Ashley Griffin for organizing and promoting such a worthwhile event.
