Kindergarten students keep busy at GHES

The Kindergarten classes at GHES have really been busy. We have completed our AMSTI (Alabama Math, Science, and Technology Institute) units on Weather and Balls /Ramps.

They are currently exploring a unit on Trees. If you would like to see pictures of our kids busy at work, log on to our school website / your child's teacher.

GHES students are very excited about reading! They are now visiting our school library each week, and checking out books.

They are also in the process of planning our field trip to the Gulfariam in Ft. Walton Beach, Fla. The students are looking forward to learning new facts about sea life. The trip is tentatively planned for sometime this Spring.
