Mitchell
Paul Mitchell, 80, of Gainestown died Feb. 11, 2008 at Mobile Infirmary hospital. He was born May 12, 1927.

Survivors include four sons, Paul Mitchell Jr., Charlie Mitchell, Frank Mitchell, Larry Mitchell, all of Mobile; two daughters, Verdean Mitchell, Houston, Texas, Rhonda Crawford, Mobile; three sisters, Australia (Leonard) Jackson, Barlow Bend, Rene (Clausell) Stokes, Gainestown, Ruth Stephens, Mt. Vernon; nine grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Gertrude Mitchell, a daughter, Etta Rea Mitchell and one son, Dewayne Mitchell.

The service was Feb. 15 at Jackson Memorial Funeral Home chapel with Rev. Chester Williams officiating. Burial was in the Good Hope A.M.E. Cemetery in Gainestown.
