Vehicles collide at Hwy. 84, Jackson Street

This Allied Waste Services pickup, a Ford F150, collided with a Chevrolet SUV at the intersection of Highway 84 and Jackson Street in Grove Hill around 1:45 p.m. Monday. Jimmy Frazier was the driver of the Allied Waste vehicle and Linda Ann Tarver of Jackson was driving the Chevrolet. Neither person was said to be seriously injured but Jets Ambulances carried both to Jackson Medical Center, 15 miles away, even though the accident was within sight of Grove Hill Memorial Hospital. Grove Hill police investigated the accident and Grove Hill firemen assisted. Photo by Jim Cox
