Chilton student receives Troy University scholarship

Dr. Jack Hawkins Jr., Chancellor of Troy University, announced that Megan Paige Jackson is a recipient of a Troy University scholarship.

She will become a Trojan in Fall 2008 and will be graduating from Clarke County High School. Jackson will receive a Chancellor's Award, a fulltuition scholarship, worth approximately $18,000 over four years.

Troy University offers academic programs on four campuses in Alabama and on more than 60 military bases and civilian sites in 16 states and 13 countries around the world. The college also offers associate, bachelor's, master's and education specialist degrees and is dedicated to student preparation in the fields of education, arts and sciences, fine arts, business, communication, applied science, nursing and allied health services.

Troy University serves more than 28,000 students worldwide. The main campus in Troy serves students from 48 U.S. states and 60 foreign nations.

Megan Paige Jackson is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Jackson of Chilton.
