New health department nearing completion

Work continues on the new Clarke County Health Department on Highway 84 East, near the Department of Human Resources and the National Guard Armory. The $1 million-plus building is expected to be completed and ready for occupancy soon. The 10,000 square foot building will replace a 3,600 one on Clark Street built in 1967. Photo by Jim Cox
