Moore

Tommie Lee Moore, 61, better known as Tony Moore, of Walker Springs died Feb. 20, 2008 at Knollwood West in Mobile.

He was born Sept. 3, 1946. He was a member of St. Luke Baptist Church of Walker Springs where he served on the deacon board. He was president of the choir. He was employed at Ciba Speciality Chemical for 25 years.

Survivors include his wife, Bettie Jean Moore, Walker Springs; one daughter, Linda (Kegg Sr.) Horn, Whatley; two brothers, Mose Moore III, Lancaster, Calif., Henry Earl (Janie Lucille) Moore, Walker Springs; one sister, Mary F. Dates, Theodore; three grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Mose and Lucille Griffin Moore, one son, Eric Lamart Moore and one brother, John Moore.

The service was Feb. 27 at 12 p.m. at the St. Luke Baptist Church of Walker Springs with Rev. Bobby White officiating. Burial was in the Hotel Hill Cemetery in Walker Springs. Jackson Memorial Funeral Home directed.
