Smith

Nettie C. Smith, 87, of Grove Hill died Feb. 23, 2008 at her residence.

She was born Dec. 23, 1920. She was a seamstress and liked to make quilts. She was a homemaker.

Survivors include three daughters, Mildred Faye (Roland) Duke, Grove Hill, Margaret Ruth Welcher, Nancy Carol Marshall, both of Millbrook; seven grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; three greatgreat grandchildren; two stepgreat great-grandchildren.

The service was Feb. 25 at 9:30 a.m. at Union Baptist Church in Grove Hill. Burial was at Lincoln Cemetery in Lincoln, Ala. with Bro. Carey Howard of St. Stephens Funeral Home officiating.
