Inspirational Tabernacle Church of God In Christ located at 1171 Industrial Road in Jackson will have its annual Brotherhood meeting continuing Thursday, (tonight), March 6 and end Friday, March 7 at 7:30 p.m. nightly. Friday, 12 noon, men only.

Prophet Cleveland Shearls of Abundance of Blessings of Moss Point, Miss will be the speaker of the week. Evangelist Beverly Jackson is the pastor.

The Full Gospel Apostolic Church of God of St. Stephens will celebrate its 22nd year appreciation of Bishop Theodore Law and Sis. Mary L. Law Thursday, (tonight), March 6 and Friday, March 7 at 7:30 p.m. nightly.

The service will end Sunday, March 9 at 1:30 p.m.

Bishop C. E. Hughes, pastor of Bay City Cathedral of Mobile will be the guest speaker.

Pine Chapel No. 1 continues

Pine Chapel No. 1 Baptist Church will continue its spring revival Thursday, (tonight), March 6 and end Friday, March 7 at 7 p.m. nightly. Rev. William Earl Jackson III, pastor of Little Burrah Baptist Church of Manila will be the evangelist for the week. Rev. Eligha Scott is the pastor.

to sell BBQ Fulton Baptist Church will have a barbecue sale Saturday, March 8 at 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. in the fellowship hall. Barbecue will be $5 per pound or $25 for a whole roast. For further information please call the church office at 334-636-5305.

Mt. Gilead Baptist Church of Carlton will host its annual Youth Day Sunday, March 23 at 11 a.m.

Revival will begin Monday, March 24 through Friday, March 28 at 7 p.m. The evangelist will be Bryant Chapman.

Antioch Baptist Church will have Marvelous Monday nights beginning Monday, March 10 through Monday, March 31 at 7 p.m. There will be a different speaker, special music and singing each night. Rev. Lon Baxter is the pastor.

Tri County

Egg Hunt set

Jackson First Assembly of God will host the annual Tri County's Largest Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, March 15 at 10 a.m. Free Coke and popcorn for all kids and over 4,000 eggs will be hidden with three grand prize eggs per age division (there will be three age divisions). Zero-3 years of age - $25, tricycle and battery powered motorcycle, 4-7 years of age - $25, bicycle and Ipod and 8-11/Sixth grade - $25, bicycle and Ipod. Grove Hill Missionary Baptist Church of the Eliska community of Uriah will have its pre-anniversary program honoring Pastor T.L. Douglas Sr. for his 31 years of service Sunday, March 16 at 3 p.m. The special guest will be Rev. Dave Adams and Mackey Branch No. 2 Baptist Church of Whatley. This program is sponsored by the Pastor's Aid Committee, Mary Hill English is the president. Dinner will be served.

Sunflower to

honor pastor

Sunflower AOH Church of God located on McFadden Street in Thomasville will honor pastor, Elder Samuel L. Calhoun Saturday, March 29 at 6 p.m. This will be a one night affair. The church will celebrate Calhoun's 38 years of preaching, 24 years of singing and his 72nd birthday. The special guest will be Rev. Hubert (Hubie) Baker and the Believers of Mobile. Other invited groups are: Spiritual Kings of Dixons Mills, Humble Spirits, Central Gospel Singers and the Life Tech Gospel Group, all of Thomasville. Master of Ceremony will be Winfred Holt of Thomasville.

Truevine Baptist Church will have its second annual basketball tournament Saturday, June 7 at 9 a.m. at the Clarke County High School Gymnasium.

There will be first, second and third place prizes to be given away. Each player on each team is asked to pay $5 for ages 15 and up and the tournament is only for boys and men.
