Breakfast held to honor Bulldog season

Clarke County School Superintendent Gerald Stephens congratulated the Bulldogs basketball team on bringing home the state runner-up trophy at a breakfast for the team the following morning after they lost 48-42 to Madison Academy. Stephens talked about character, class, hustle and other things that people look for in players. "I saw how you represented yourself and this school in Birmingham and I am proud of you," Stephens said. The Bulldogs finished as the state runner up in Class 3A. Photo by Jake Paul
