Foxx

Rhodney Lee Foxx, 51, of Huntington Station, N.Y. died Feb. 27, 2008 in an area hospital.

He spent his younger years in Jackson. He was a member of St. Union Missionary Baptist Church. He moved to Huntington Station in 1968 and attended Huntington High School and remained at Huntington Station until his death. He renewed his church life in New York when he joined Evergreen Missionary Baptist Church of Huntington. He was employed by Kings Park Industries (KPI) in Kings Park, N.Y. and was a member of the Local 1298 for over 17 years.

Survivors include his father, James Hayden, Jackson; two sons, Trevor Jerideau, Manhattan, N.Y., Troy Jerideau, Huntington Station, N.Y.; two brothers, Samuel (Gwendolyn) Montgomery, Bobby (Julia) Daffin, Jackson; one sister, Marion (Matthew) Poellnitz, Huntington Station, N.Y.; one grandson, Troy Jerideau Jr., Huntington Station, N.Y.; five nephews; five nieces, other relatives and friends.

A viewing will be from 10 a.m. until the service at 11 a.m. Thursday, (today), March 6 at St. Union Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. James M. Howard officiating. Burial will be in the Woodlawn Cemetery in Jackson. Jackson Memorial Funeral Home will direct.
