Flint

Davis Ludovic Flint, 84, of Pine Hill died Feb. 23, 2008 at his residence.

He was born Sept. 22, 1923 in Bladon Springs. He was a member of the Thomasville Church of God. He was a former marine engineer.

Survivors include his wife, Sue K. Flint, Pine Hill; three sons, Edward Flint, Gary Flint, both of Pine Hill, Davis Ray Flint, Mobile; two daughters, Patricia Strickland, Janice Flint, both of Pine Hill; three brothers, Alex Flint, Tommy Flint, both of Mobile, Grady Flint, Pine Hill; 10 grandchildren; five greatgrandchildren.

The service was Feb. 26 at 11 a.m. with Revs. Raymond Williams and Glenn Akridge officiating. Burial was in the Independence Cemetery in Sunny South. O'Bryant Chapel Funeral Home of Thomasville directed.

Active pallbearers were Gary Flint, Stephen Stabler, Teddy Paul, Anthony Brunson, Andy Flint, Eddie Flint and Chad Strickland.

Honorary pallbearers were Luke Flint, Grady Flint and Bobby Whitten.
