Hudson Callie Louise Hudson, 86, of Grove Hill died Feb. 28, 2008 at Monroe County Hospital. She was born Sept. 13, 1921 in Coffeeville. She was a former machine operator with a garment manufacturing company. Survivors include four sons, Elvin M. Hudson, Arcadia, Fla., Gerald Hudson, Denham Springs, La., Fred Hudson, Nobolesville, Ind., Randy Hudson, Monroeville; four brothers, Bruce Sheffield, Crestview, Fla., Clyde Sheffield, Knoxville, Tenn., Roger Sheffield, Irvington, Jack Rutherford, Lake Wales, Fla.; one sister, Margie McCallister, Mobile; 20 grandchildren; 44 great-grandchildren; 24 great-great-grandchildren. The service was March 1 at 11 a.m. at O'Bryant Chapel Funeral Home with Rev. Jamie Pombo officiating. Burial was in the Henley Cemetery in Fulton. O'Bryant Chapel Funeral Home of Thomasville directed. Active pallbearers were Eddie Knight, Mickey Stephens, Patrick Stephens, Lee Stephens, Clay Hudson and Billy Lowe.
Honorary pallbearers were Mack Stephens and Don Cain.
