Amateur photographers in Southwest Alabama are preparing for the third annual photography contest and exhibit to be held April 27 at the Clarke County Museum in Grove Hill. "Photography In Your Own Back Yard" is an event being sponsored by The Arts Council of Grove Hill and the Arts Council of Thomasville to promote an interest in art through photography. Submissions can be made at the public library or at the Chamber of Commerce in Grove Hill, Thomasville, or Jackson or at Town Hall in Coffeeville. The deadline is April 11. Libraries and Chambers have examples and rules for the format of submissions.
