Literacy group holds meeting

The Literacy Coalition of Clarke County held a board meeting March 6 at the Helms House in Grove Hill. Board members include Sharon Jones, Cheryl Horton, Asberry Daffin and Denise Flowers. The coalition will be conducting training sessions for Literacy Tutors as a part of their county-wide adult literacy program. The training sessions will be held April 1 in Grove Hill at the Department of Human Resources from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The training will be led by Goodwill Easter Seals.
