Alexander

Joyce Faye Alexander, 76, of Jackson died March 17, 2008 at Robertsdale Health Care Facility.

She was born April 7, 1931. She was a native of Knoxville, Tenn. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Jackson. She was a U.S. Army Veteran of the Korean conflict. She was a retired security guard for Pinkerton Security.

Survivors include one son, Edward (Cindy) Alexander, Jackson; one daughter, Debra (Marty) Hanks, Daphne; three brothers, Dave Allman Jr., New York, Mike (Wilma) Allman, Knoxville, Tenn., Dewey Allman, Mobile; two grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Alexander.

The service will be Thursday (today) March 20 at 2 p.m. with visitation at 1 p.m. at the First Baptist Church of Jackson with Rev. Tim Huie officiating. Burial will be in Trinity Memorial Gardens in Jackson. Lathan Funeral Home of Jackson will direct.
