Nelson

Miriam "Pee Wee" Nelson, 52, a lifelong resident of Thomasville, died March 16, 2008 at Mobile Infirmary. She was born Jan. 20, 1956.

Survivors include three brothers, Bobby Joe (Brenda) Nelson, Pine Hill, Russell (Robin) Nelson, J.D. (Shelly) Nelson, all of Gulf Shores; two sisters, Vera Nelson of Thomasville, Diane (Marvin) Smith of Pine Hill.

The service was March 19 at 11 a.m. at Liberty Baptist Church in Thomasville with Bro. Bill Faircloth officiating. Burial was in the Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery. St. Stephens Funeral Home directed.

Active pallbearers were Mark Smith, Tony Nelson, Chris Nelson, Michael Nelson, Ian Snyder and Gary Nelson.

Honorary pallbearer was Anthony Nelson.
