Club makes donations

The Southern Magnolia Woman's Club made its annual contributions to local organizations during the March 13 meeting. Kaye Crosby, left, accepts a check on behalf of the Alpha Pregnancy Testing Center from club vice-president Becky Presnall. Donations were also made to the Clarke County Junior Miss Program, Clarke County Historical Society, Grove Hill Public Library, A Secret Safe Place for Newborns, Clarke County Association for Retarded Citizens and the Clarke Regional Child Advocacy Center. Funds for these contributions are generated through the club's fern sale held each spring. Orders are being taken now for the ferns. To purchase a fern contact any club member or call Virginia Wiggins at 1- 251-275-8455
