Boyette Ida Mae Boyette, 83, of Grove Hill died March 19, 2008. She was born April 15, 1924 in Grove Hill. She was a homemaker. Survivors include two sons, Alex Forest Boyette, Beatrice, Samuel Allen Boyette, Grove Hill; two daughters, Genise Calloway, Mobile, Peggie Mae Black, Nicholsville; five brothers, Emmett Gray Baugh, Tommy Lee Baugh, Leon Baugh, Jesse Ray Baugh, all of Grove Hill, Alvin Clay Baugh, Thomasville; 17 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren. The service was March 22 at 10 a.m. at O'Bryant Chapel Funeral Home in Thomasville with Rev. Walter Smith officiating. Burial was in the Bassett Creek Baptist Church Cemetery in Grove Hill. Active pallbearers were Paul LePiane, Danny Shaw, Mike Alfonsie, John Shaw, Buddy Boy Deason and Darren Baugh.
Honorary pallbearers were James Overton, Bill Honeycut and James McCoy.
