Church Announcements Whatley First Assembly of God continues revival Whatley First Assembly of God will continue its revival through Saturday, April 5 with Rev. Jim DeWitt. Rev. DeWitt is an announcer on the radio in Thomasville. Services will start at 7 p.m. nightly. The drama team from Magnolia Assembly of God will do a drama in the Sunday night service. The membership of Whatley First Assembly of God invites everyone to attend. Rev. Justin "Dusty" Coover is the pastor. Tompkins singing Tompkins Baptist Church will feature Good News who will be singing for a cure Saturday, April 5 at 6 p.m. Donations will be taken for Relay For Life. New Greater special day New Greater First Baptist Church located at 181 Nicol Avenue Southeast of Thomasville will have its Men and Women's Day celebration Sunday, April 6 at 2:30 p.m. Rev. E.J. Marshall and congregation of Greater Saint Paul Church of Selma will be the special guests. Rev. Carlton L. Hogue is the pastor. Friendship homecoming Friendship Baptist Church located off Highway 154 will have its homecoming Sunday, April 6 at 10:30 a.m. with Rev. John Gibson speaking. Lunch will be at 12 p.m. followed by afternoon singing featuring the Dixie Disciples of Thomasville. Peniel sanctuary dedication Peniel Baptist Church located at 1730 McVay Road of Jackson will have a sanctuary dedication service Sunday, April 6 beginning at 9:45 a.m. with Bible study and worship at 11 a.m. Lunch will be in the fellowship hall following worship service. Creel's Chapel singing Creel's Chapel United Methodist Church will have a singing featuring The Glory Road Quartet Saturday, April 12 at 7 p.m. Everyone is invited to attend. Morning Star fundraising program Morning Star Baptist Church Cemetery Committee is having its annual fundraising program Sunday, April 13 at 2 p.m. for the following cemeteries, Herron Hill, Cleveland Harris and Hill Cemetery. The special guest will be Rev. Walter Bracy of Mobile and The Barbara Martin Group of Montgomery. Chance Baptist revival Chance Baptist Church will have a three night spring revival Monday, April 14 through Wednesday, April 16 at 7 p.m. nightly. Rev. St. Luke revival St. Luke Baptist Church of Grove Hill will have its spring revival Monday, April 14 through Wednesday, April 16 at 7 p.m. nightly. Rev. Delmeco Williams will be the evangelist for the revival. There will be a gospel concert Saturday, April 26 at 6 p.m. Dr. Feelgood will be the emcee. Maximum Impact at Pineview Clarke County Development Foundation in conjunction with Pineview Baptist Church will host the Maximum Impact satellite simulcast Friday, April 18 from 8 a.m. until 3 p.m. The church is located on Highway 43 South in Thomasville. Mackey Branch #2 Baptist Church in Whatley will have a benefit program for Deacon Eddie Hill Sr. and Bro.
