"WHAT'S SIN"
Some young men had been visiting in the garden and they came into my study and asked, "What's sin?" "Everything I like to do," answered one of the boys. Sin is breaking God's law, and God's law is set forth in the Ten Commandments. They were given to teach us what's right and what's wrong. They reveal what God expects us to do and not to do. The laws of God are reflected in our conscience. People who have never seen them in their religion, feel in their hearts the rightness and wrongness of their ways. Isn't it wonderful to know that we can be saved from sin through Jesus!
Prayer: We turn to Thee, Father, from all our sins. Grant that our family and friends will now see and hear the difference in our lives. Make us wholly Thine: this we pray in the precious name of Jesus. Amen.
