'Injoy' simulcast April 18 in T'ville

Andy Andrews, a nationally known comedian and author who has family ties to Jackson, will be one of several motivational speakers for the "Injoy" simulcast broadcast scheduled for Friday, April 18 at the Pineview Baptist Church in Thomasville.

Andrews' 2002 bestseller, The Traveler's Gift: Seven Decisions that Determine Personal Success, was on the New York Times bestseller list for 17 weeks and translated into nearly 20 languages. The Traveler's Gift is a story of one man's search for meaning and success in life by traveling back into time and conversing with seven historic individuals.

There are several other speakers on tap for the daylong simulcast, including Dan Cathy, president and CEO of Chick-fil-A, Inc. Truett Cathy started the successful chicken fast food restaurant now headed by his son.

The event is sponsored by the Clarke County Development Foundation in conjunction with Pineview Baptist Church. Registration will begin at 7 a.m. with coffee and snacks.

The event will begin at 8 a.m. and concludes at 3 p.m.

Tickets are $65 each which includes lunch and snacks. Businesses and organizations can be sponsors for $250 and tickets are available to sponsors for $60 each.
