ServiceMaster Clean opening new location in McIntosh

ServiceMaster Clean, a national leader in the restoration industry, is opening its newest franchise in McIntosh. With nearly 60 years of service experience, ServiceMaster currently serves residential and commercial customers through a network of over 5,500 company-owned locations and franchised licenses.

It was founded in 1929 as a moth-proofing company by Marion E. Wade and was incorporated in 1947.

The company specializes in emergency services for water damage, fire/smoke damage, and mold remediation, for home or business, and is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, with a response time of 2-4 hours. ServiceMaster provides free estimates. The owner, Dwight Reed, was born and raised in McIntosh. Reed has been a ServiceMaster franchise owner in south Florida for six years, and has decided to return home.

ServiceMaster by Reed will be open for service beginning Monday. It will service the counties of Washington, Clarke, Choctaw, Monroe, Escambia, Conecuh, Covington, Crenshaw, and Butler. "We are looking forward to being of service to the community," Reed said. "With hurricane season approaching, we will give free 'Hurricane Preparedness' seminars in the area to assist with planning for a safe season. Planning ahead greatly increases the ability to withstand and recover physically from any possible effects of a hurricane."

ServiceMaster Clean by Reed can be reached by calling 866-944- 0505 or 251-944-0505.
