According to the Alabama Department of Public Health, scoring between 85 and 100 indicates "establishments are considered to be in satisfactory compliance and are inspected on routine schedule."

Scoring between 70 and 85 indicates "establishments require a follow-up inspection within 60 days."

Scoring between 60 and 70 indicates "establishments require follow up and re-inspection within 48 hours."

Scoring below 60 indicates establishments should be closed immediately.
