Letter to the Editor Dear Editor, As a Clarke County taxpayer and the father of two children in our public schools in Grove Hill, I continue to be disturbed by the failure of Boise to pay its property taxes. As we all know, Boise was exempt for many years from paying most, if not all, of its property taxes. Now that they are called on to pay their full share of taxes, they appeal and go to court. They don't want to pay. This is costing our public schools hundreds of thousands of dollars that we desperately need. I pay my taxes, even if it isn't easy. I suspect that most of you do too. Boise should do the same and pay their taxes like the rest of us do.
