Dr. Rivers autographs books

Laurie Cumbie watches as Dr. Terry Rivers autographs a copy of his novel, "The Jihad Germ" at City Drugs last Friday. Rivers grew up in Grove Hill, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Rivers. He drew on his medical and military experiences to pen a story of bioterrorism. A number of people turned out for the event. Photo by Jim Cox
