Rain doesn't dampen spirits at Fulton benefit 5K run

Despite the rainy weather, the 5K run went on as planned Saturday morning in Fulton. The event was scheduled with proceeds to go to a proposed county animal shelter. David Jeffrey (center) of Semmes, Ala. was the winner with a time of 20.54. Residents also brought their furry friends out to the event (right). Photos by Barry H. Hendrix
