Wilkinson

Virginia Earle Wilkinson, 97, of Jackson died April 1, 2008 in a local medical facility.

She was born May 20, 1910. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Jackson. She was a former homemaker. In her earlier years, she had been active in many civic organizations.

Survivors include three daughters, Elizabeth Ann (Juan) Whitehead, Jackson, Edna Earle (the late Don Finlayson) Finlayson, Clanton, Ala., Nancy (Richard) Waller, Grove Hill; 10 grandchildren; and 26 greatgrandchildren.

A memorial service was April 5 at 3 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church in Jackson. Lathan Funeral Home in Jackson directed.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to First United Methodist Church of Jackson or a favorite charity of choice.
