Mamie Lula Jones Kelly, 99, of Linden died April 4, 2008 at Bryan W. Whitfield Memorial Hospital.

She was born Jan. 23, 1909 in Thomasville. She was a member of Providence Baptist Church. She was a graduate of The University of Montevallo. She was a lifetime member of the DAR. She was a homemaker.

Survivors include one daughter, Lillie Jane McNeely, Linden; one granddaughter, Kelly (Joe) McNeely Bagwell, Silver Creek, Miss.; two great-grandsons, Joseph Wayne Bagwell, Silver Creek, Miss., Matthew Micah Bourgeois, Baton Rouge, La.; two great-granddaughters, Tori Elizabeth Bagwell, Silver Creek, Miss., Miranda Henry, Millbrook; one great-nephew, Sam Mitchell, Gallion.

A graveside service will be Saturday, April 12 at 11 a.m. at the Choctaw Corner Cemtery in Thomasville. O'Bryant Chapel Funeral Home of Thomasville will direct.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Providence Baptist Church in Gallion.
