Ask God to forgive us for our sins
By Pastor Roger Keel Pleasant Grove Baptist Church

The Bible tells us in Daniel 3:1-30, the story of Shadraeh, Meshach and Abednego. They were cast into the midst of a burning, fiery furnace. Even though everyone was against them, God was with them. They would not bow down to worship the golden image. They were put into the fiery furnace, they still had faith in God, and He would deliver them from the furnace.

I have heard people say "Where is God?" God is everywhere. He is in the light of day and in the dark of night. We all have good intentions, but sometimes circumstances get in the way. God is only a prayer away. The most important prayer we will ever pray to God is a prayer of repentance. We must pray this prayer in order to go to Heaven. We must ask God to forgive us of our sins.

One day we are all going to face God. If you have prayed and asked God to forgive, then you will go to Heaven and if you haven't prayed for repentance and forgiveness, then you are bound for Hell.

As I close, I pray that God has spoken to you. I pray that today you will make a decision to accept Christ as your Lord and Savior.

God gave His only Son that we may have eternal life. May God bless you.
