Local students chosen for Boys State, Girls State

Students from Clarke County High School and Clarke Preparatory School have been chosen as delegates and alternates for Boys State and Girls State. Boys State will be held June 1-7 at the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa. Girls State will be held June 8-13 at Troy University. Pictured (in top photo) are (top row) Tyler Walker, Austin Everett and Ezban Morrissette (alternate delegate) (all from CCHS); (bottom row) Health Bishop and Dalton Orwig (both from Clarke Prep), Chris Squires and Curian Mc- Caskill (both of CCHS), and Chad Dickinson (Clarke Prep). Everett is the Boys State delegate from CCHS; and Orwig is the Boys State delegate from Clarke Prep.
