Local students chosen for Boys State, Girls State

| Students from Clarke County High School and Clarke Preparatory School have been chosen as delegates and alternates for Boys State and Girls State. Boys State will be held June 1-7 at the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa. Girls State will be held June 8-13 at Troy University. Pictured (in top photo) are (top row) Tyler Walker, Austin Everett and Ezban Morrissette (alternate delegate) (all from CCHS); (bottom row) Health Bishop and Dalton Orwig (both from Clarke Prep), Chris Squires and Curian Mc- Caskill (both of CCHS), and Chad Dickinson (Clarke Prep). Everett is the Boys State delegate from CCHS; and Orwig is the Boys State delegate from Clarke Prep.
