Changing gas prices

Shelia Bush, store manager at the Grove Hill Jr. Mart lowers gasoline prices one-cent Saturday. She said she stays busy changing the sign, up or down a few cents. Sure enough, by Wednesday the price was back up one cent. Gas prices have seesawed up and down in recent months but overall continue to increase. Wednesday, AAA reported the average price for a gallon of regular gasoline in Alabama was $3.29. That's up from $3.20 a month ago and up considerably from $2.75 a year ago. Diesel is even higher, averaging right at $4 a gallon. The state is still doing better than the nation as a whole, where the average price for a gallon of regular is $3.38.
