Jackson-Williams to wed May 10

Mr. Williams, Miss Jackson
Curley and Evelyn Jackson of Gainestown announce the engagement of their daughter, Avis M. Jackson, to Roger Williams, son of Patricia Williams of Rockville and the late Dan Williams.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Jethro and Josephine Rankin of Gainestown and the late Dan and Costella Jackson. Ms. Jackson is the mother of two daughters, Denesha S. Jackson and Jayla R. Williams.

The prospective groom is the grandson of Emma Washington of Rockville and the late Limmie Cave, David Williams and Delphine Jackson. He is the father of one son, Jaylin Williams and three daughters, Jayla Williams, Janiqua Jackson and Jasmine Rocker.

Ms. Jackson is a 1995 graduate of Jackson High School. She is attending South University in hopes of receiving her bachelors in business management. She is currently employed with HRDI at Life Tech Transitional Facility in Thomasville as an Administrative Assistant/Case Manager.

Mr. Williams is a 1990 graduate of Jackson High School. He is currently employed with Fulton Logging Company.

The wedding will be an event of Saturday, May 10, 2008 at 4 p.m. at Mt. Olive No. I Baptist Church in Rockville. All family and friends are invited to attend through the medium of the press.
