spring revival

The New Greater First Baptist Church family will continue its spring revival Thursday, (tonight), April 24 at 7 p.m. nightly.

Rev. Schmitt Moore, pastor of the Bethel Baptist Church of Tuscaloosa will be the evangelist. The church is located at 181 Nicole Aenue Southeast in Thomasville. Regina Gwin is the church clerk.

Rev. Carlton L. Hogue is the pastor.

Henley Cemetery in Fulton will have its annual decoration service Sunday, April 27 at 2 p.m.

Spencer Chapel AMEC located at North East Main and Church Street in Fulton will have its annual Women's Day Program Sunday, April 27 at 11:30 a.m.

The speaker will be Minister Rosalind Myles of Mobile. Presiding elder W.T. Lesueur is the pastor.

The Woodland Methodist Church on U.S. Highway 84 East in Monroeville presents "In Person" Gary McSpadden Sunday, April 27 at 6 p.m.

From the Oak Ridge Boys to the Imperials, the Bill Gaither Trio and Gaither Vocal Band, McSpadden continues to prove through the years of ministry that a broad expression of musical gifts can have an important part in shaping an industry and influencing thousands of people. Woodlawn Church is located midway between Repton and Monroeville on the North side of U.S. Highway 84 East.

Williams Temple CME Church located at 206 Davis Avenue in Thomasville will celebrate its 120th year anniversary Sunday, April 27 at 2:30 p.m.

The guest speaker will be Elder Ore L. Spragin Jr., presiding elder of the Mobile District of the Southeast Alabama Region CME Church.

Youth Revival

Wilson Chapel AME Church is hosting a youth revival Monday, April 28 through Wednesday, April 30 at 7 p.m. nightly.

Rev. Marcus Kelley of Word of Truth Fellowship Church of Jackson will be the speaker each night.

All area youths are especially invited to attend. Wedia Love is the YPD director. Rev. Levi H. Marshall is the pastor.

The Cobb-Wilson Cemetery located at the Annie Wilson Place will have a work day Saturday, May 3. Please come out and help.

New Prospect Homecoming and

Decoration

New Prospect will have its homecoming and decoration Sunday, May 4 with services beginning in the cemetery at 10:30 a.m. Morning worship service will be at 11 a.m. Lunch will be served at noon.

There will be a cemetery working Saturday, April 26. All entrusted persons are asked to come out and help. Please remove all old flowers.

St. Peter

Women's Day

St. Peter Baptist Church will have its Women's Day Sunday, May 4 at 9:30 a.m. followed by the 11:30 a.m. worship service.

Sister Geraldine Davis is the guest speaker. The service will end at 2 p.m. with Pastor Belinda Kelly of the Word of Truth Fellowship Church of Jackson as the guest speaker.

All women are asked to wear white if possible. Rev. Matthew Davis is the pastor.

Usher Day

Indian Ridge Baptist Church will have its annual Usher Day Program Sunday, May 24 at 11:30 a.m.

Sis. Bernice Raine is the clerk. Rev. John Lynum is the pastor.

Truevine

Truevine Baptist Church will have its second annual basketball tournament Saturday, June 7 at 9 a.m. at the Clarke County High School Gymnasium.

There will be first, second and third place prizes to be given away. Each player on each team is asked to pay $5 for ages 15 and up and the tournament is only for boys and men.

Stave Creek Baptist Church Children's Ministry will have Vacation Bible School Power Lab "Discovering Jesus Miraculous Power" June 9-13 from 5:45 p.m. until 8:30 p.m.
