"GOD IS GOOD"
A teacher said to a mother, "Your son is a delight to have in school. He's so good!" "My son?" she said. Turning to him, the mother exclaimed, "Your teacher says you're good. Why can't you be good at home?" "Well," he said, "I've got only so much goodness to go around." God is good. He isn't only the Greatest of all the great, but the Best! All the goodness in His creatures is imparted from Him. Goodness doesn't consist in the outward things you do, but in the inward things you are. You must first be made good by God, before you can habitually do good. Why don't you let God make you good?
Prayer: More than life itself, Father, we long to please Thee with our thoughts, our conversations and our actions. Pardon us and purify us. Make us clean within and without: through Christ. Amen.
