Grove Hill native will autograph books Saturday

A book signing will take place Saturday, April 26 from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Clarke County Museum. Grove Hill native Ted Dunagan will sign copies of his recently reprinted book, "A Yellow Watermelon." Set in Clarke County, Dunagan's book, although fiction, is largely autobiographical.

"A Yellow Watermelon" tells the story of 12-year-old Ted Dillon who befriends a black sawmill worker and another boy his own age. Set in the 1940s, Ted finds himself kneedeep in a Clarke County secret involving his new friends and the richest, meanest man in town.

For more information, call the museum at 1-251-275-8684.
