McIntyre receives academic award

Joshua Rodning McIntyre, a graduating senior in the School of Christian Studies at the University of Mobile, was presented April 18 the Hebrew Award for maintaining the highest academic average.

He was also presented the "Award for Promise of Academic Accomplishment" by the national organization, Theta Alpha Kappa, for the senior student in the chapter who shows overall high academic achievement and future promise in the study of theology.

The awards were given out at the annual awards ceremony of the Alpha Alpha Sigmund Chapter of the Theta Alpha Kappa National Honor Society for Religious Studies and Theology at the University of Mobile.

He is the son of Brenda McIntyre and Travis McIntyre of Grove Hill.
