Clarke County Junior Miss Pageant set for May 3

The 2009 Clarke County Junior Miss program will be held Saturday, May 3 at Sage Auditorium in Grove Hill, beginning at 7 p.m.

There are 13 contestants in this year's program.

Keely Williams attends Jackson High School and is the daughter of Chester and Rita Williams. Her little sister for the program is Julia Thomas. She will perform a piano solo, "Concerto in A minor," by Edvard Grieg for the talent portion of the program.

Lindsay Jordan is the daughter of Buddy and Angie Jordan and is a student at Clarke Preparatory School. Dallas Davis is her little sister for the event. Her talent performance will be a piano solo, "Valse Petite," by Ella Ketterer.

Morgan Downey is a junior at Thomasville High School and is the daughter of Robin and Tracey Downey. Her little sister for the program in Emily Godwin. She will perform a vocal selection, "Only Hope," for the talent portion of the program.

Heather Overstreet is the daughter of Martis Overstreet and Lynn Jones. She attends Jackson High School. Her little sister for the event is Lauren Rodriguez. For her talent presentation she will perform a monologue, "The Stepsister Speaks Out."

Julie Dozier attends Thomasville High School and is the daughter of Drs. Frank and Daveta Dozier. Sloan Utsey is her little sister for the program. She will perform a vocal solo, "For Good," from the Broadway musical Wicked.

Anna Kate Mullinix is the daughter of Tim and Donette Mullinix and is a student at Solid Rock Christian School. Her little sister for the program is Jordan Breedlove. She will present a ballet en pointe, "Phantom of the Opera," for the talent portion of the program.

Taylor Smith attends Thomasville High School and is the daughter and Mr. and Mrs. Russell Smith. Carson Parker is her little sister for the program. She will perform a violin solo, "Amazing Grace," for the performing arts portion of the program.

Lexi Stewart is the daughter of Jean S. Stewart and William H. Stewart. She is a junior at Jackson High School. Her little sister for the event is Veronica Ginn. Her talent presentation will be a vocal solo, "A Dream is a Wish Your Heart Makes."

Nina Wilson attends Jackson Academy and is the daughter of Stan and Sheila Wilson. Kristin Weaver is her little sister for the program. She will perform a jazz dance, "Fever," for the talent portion of the program.

Elissa Bolen is the daughter of John and Terri Bolen and attends Jackson High School. Petyn Bailey is her little sister for the event. Her talent performance will be a dance, "Big Time."

Caroline Waugh is a student at Jackson High School and is the daughter of Nick and Leanne Waugh. Her little sister for the program is Bethany Kendrick. She will present a monologue, "Queen Lucy," from You're a Good Man Charlie Brown.

Paige Harvell is the daughter of Timmy and Melissa Harvell and attends Clarke Preparatory School. Her little sister for the event is Chelsey Sellers. Her talent presentation will be a jazz dance, "So Fabulous So Fierce,"

Jessica Reid is a student at Thomasville High School and is the daughter of Rex and Donna Reid. Brooke Dosier is her little sister for the program. She will present a monologue from "Annie Get Your Gun," for the talent portion of the program.
