Principal's Column

Of all the events we have during a regular school year, I still enjoy Beta Club induction most of all. This past Thursday night we recognized a total of 125 students who are in good standing with the State and National Beta Club requirements.

I want to thank Mrs. Melissa McNider, Mrs. Tammy Dannelly, Mrs. Cheryl Clarke, and Mrs. Annell Gordon for all their hard work this year with Beta Club.

Also, as the school year winds down, I would like to congratulate all of our Student Government Association students who raised over $11,000 for Relay for Life. Every year our kids work hard for the community project. Again, thanks go to Mrs. Gina Skipper, Mr. Adam Andrews, Mrs. Cedricia Wilson, and Mrs. Ann Smith for all their leadership in helping these students raise this money.

The PTA Executive Committee has selected our new PTA officers for the next school year.

The new officers are: Lori Stout, President; Carol Cox, Vice-President, Lizzie Brownlee, Treasurer; and Shirley Bradley, Secretary.
