Grimes Mary Pauline Grimes, 81, of Mobile died April 17, 2008 at an area hospital. She was born July 15, 1927. She was a native of Coffeeville. She attended Dauphin Way Baptist Church. She was a homemaker. Survivors include two sons, David G. Grimes, Mobile, John F. Grimes, Knoxville, Tenn.; four daughters, Barbara V. Grimes, Linda K. Grimes, Phyllis E. Myles, all of Mobile, Frances M. Trimnal, Hobson; one sister, Ruby Bedwell, Grove Hill; 10 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren. The service was April 21 at 11 a.m. at Lathan Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jerry Brown officiating. Burial was in the Wesley Chapel Cemetery in Bigbee. Active pallbearers were Floyd Newton, Terry Wayne Sexton, Bobby Sims, Douglas Grimes, John Gray and Edward Hare.
Honorary pallbearers were Ray Trimnal and Bryant Myles.
